Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kitgum
Be picked up by our Safari guide in the morning who will brief you before heading out to Kitgum which is in the northern part of Uganda start your Kidepo Valley National Park safari.
Be prepared for a long day in the car, but with a lot to see as you enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows during this day of transfer. Lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Bomah Hotel Kitgum

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo valley National Park
After breakfast drive northwards through Lira in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and Inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners. On arrival in the park, you will check in, relax a bit and have lunch. Later go for an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Nga’moru Wilderness Camp.
Day 3: Kidepo National Park morning game drive and evening Karamajong interaction
A fter an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich and later return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenna and Kapendo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Nga’moru Wilderness Camp
Day 4: Morning game drive -Transfer back through Gulu
After breakfast, have a morning game drive to search for Kidepo’s exclusive wildlife such as Ostriches, hartebeest, Roan antelopes and many woodland birds. Have lunch and relax by the lodge. Later, travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and grass thatched houses passing by the window. Day 5: Transfer to Kampala via Rhino sanctuary
After breakfast, checkm out and embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala. You will have a stop over in Nakasongola at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is a famous gateway for Rhino tacking to have a fell of tha African big five. You will have lunch and later transfer back to Kampala.
